Chevrolet introduced the Camaro Base in late 1996 to regain its grip on the Convertible market. There are 5 trim levels for the Camaro in 1997: RS, Z28, Z28 30th Anniversary Edition, Z28 SS 30th Anniversary Edition, and Base. With two doors and spacious seating for four, the rear-wheel drive Camaro makes a statement. There is plenty of competition in the Convertible market, including strong offerings from Acura.
