The 1991 Camaro is an important vehicle to Chevrolet for the coupe market segment. The Z28 is a member of a series of two trim levels for the Camaro which include RS and Z28. The Camaro Z28 is equipped with a General Motors 5.0 liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The Chevrolet engine is mated to a Hydra-Matic 4-speed Transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Chevrolet.
