Chevrolet introduced the Camaro Z28 in late 1991 to regain its grip on the Convertible market. There are 4 trim levels for the Camaro in 1992: RS, RS Heritage Edition, Z28, and Z28 Heritage Edition. The two-door car with its rear-wheel drive is positioned to aggressively fill this niche for Chevrolet. There is strong competition from vehicles from Honda.
